SUMMATIVE PERFORMANCE TASK: ExtensionInvite elected officials at all governments to come in and share their stories and their reactions to this lesson of study and how they are involved in similar ways.
Taking Informed Action / Real World ApplicationStudents will write their local, state and federal governments with petitions and requests for funding to enhance their school.  The enhancements will be things that come from a survey of students, parents and teachers.
