SUMMATIVE PERFORMANCE TASK: Supported Claim (written/spoken) or Demonstration of Process (project-based)	Students will create a classroom structure of expectations and governance that they will follow in order to create a successful learning environment.
SUMMATIVE PERFORMANCE TASK: Extension	Invite elected officials at all governments to come in and share their stories and their reactions to this lesson of study and how they are involved in similar ways.
Taking Informed Action / Real World Application	Students will write their local, state and federal governments with petitions and requests for funding to enhance their school.  The enhancements will be things that come from a survey of students, parents and teachers. Disclaimer: Educators are encouraged to use these lessons as a guide, especially when it comes to capturing standards and required content for their instructional disciplines.
