|SUMMATIVE PERFORMANCE TASK: Supported Claim (written/spoken) or Demonstration of Process (project-based)||Students will go out and pick wild sage and be provided with the teachings of taking care of Mother Earth and each other through the use of Smudging.|
|SUMMATIVE PERFORMANCE TASK: Extension||Guest Speaker: offer tobacco to a knowledgeable person to come in and share their knowledge and teachings of Smudging.|
|Taking Informed Action / Real World Application||Students will create a wellness and mindfulness plan for the school so that everyone has an opportunity at gaining mental health support in and out of the school.|
